a Division of PetroUSA [ticker > PBAJ]

Since 1970, TradEx operated as a fuels distributor. In the late 1990's it started to reshape into a physical fuel exchange. By 2015 it had become a fully functioning global physical exchange and is the first and only physical fuel exchange in the world.

Today, the TradEx Fuel Exchange is one of the most dominant physical fuel trading / distibution organizations across the globe, operating via 7,000+ traders, on 4 continents, with bids to acquire multiple port terminals [port operations & fuel tank farms] in the Caribbean and mainland USA, with central Head Quarters set in Puerto Rico and trade desk operations being developed in New York, Houston and Los Angeles.

In Q1, 2024, TradEx was acquired by PetroUSA, a publicly traded company; [ticker: PBAJ] which is currently undergoing a restructuring process to prepare the firm for an uplist to the NASDAQ.

Trade confidently. Trust in TradEx

TradEx is one of the fastest-growing global fuel trading companies, providing logistics, services to our customers, with perfectly tailored solutions using our bespoke logistics services and our trade finance packages via our divison, FuelBank. As the first online physical fuel trading exchange, we give traders the opportunity & security of independently verified Sellers and Buyers, as TradEx operates much like a 'Market Maker' in that it matches legitimate Buyers with legitimite Sellers and verifies all fuels posted for sale along with the financial and logistics capabilities of all Buyers on the exchange so that Sellers, Buyers & brokers of fuel know, with certainty, that each side is capable of closing on a transaction.

TradEx is in the business of supporting traders interested in actually moving physical fuel, from Seller to Buyer, port to port, terminal to terminal. We are not in the business of flipping contracts for arbitrage or Futures Trading.

Contact us and one of our traders will walk you through the process of either being verified as a Seller (member) or how to be verified as a Buyer so that you may purchase verified fuel. Ask us about our global storage options. We have storage.

Who we Serve; Who Trades with TradEx

As a leading global exchange supporting the trade of physical refined fuel products, our core business is sourcing, supplying discounted fuel stocks (off Platts or OPIS rack pricing) and trading these refined petroleum products via a network of experienced physical traders. We enhance our trading activities with a strategic approach,  providing valuable insights into key markets where we operate and enabling us to optimize the opportunity for our Buyers by a solid supply management protocol regarding fuel delivery services, fuels discount packages, and transport, storage and delivery of fuels.

As one of the world's largest independent physical fuel trading exchanges, TradEx is at the frontline of the physical trade industry. We apply market intelligence, logistics expertise and global supply resources to move physical fuel stocks where & when they’re needed - tank-to-tank, port-to-port, barge-to-ship > from refineries, via pipelines, into large tank farms and out to truck fleets and large ship tankers, where buy-side traders move fuel stocks to every corner of the globe. We invest in infrastructure, such as operating oil fields and tank farms to reduce the cost of trading and increase discounted pricing opportunities. The key markets we serve are: Fleet (truck, train & ship), Chain (gas station & retail chains), Air (commercial airlines, private air carriers, cargo & military), Sea (cargo, passenger & military).
